Guidelines for Virtual Presentation

Pre-Conference

  1. Authors are required to prepare a maximum of 15 minutes presentation slides in ppt form and MUST be uploaded through EDAS (deadline 1 March 2021). To do this, after logging into EDAS, click the 'My Papers' tab, click on your paper title, and then scroll down to the 'Presentation' row, and click on the cloud-shaped upload icon. From there, follow the instructions to upload your presentation.

  2. Please declare who will be presenting the paper at the conference on EDAS. To do this, after logging into EDAS, click the 'My Papers' tab, click on your paper title, and then click the Change/Add icon in the 'Presenter (s)' row. Indicate who will present the paper and click 'Add presenter (Save)' button.

Conference Day (8th – 9th March 2021)

  1. Please ensure that you are entering the correct virtual room for your session (refer to the session time table)

  2. ICPEA will use Cisco Webex Meetings as the platform for virtual presentation. Virtual rooms can be accessed directly from website OR you can first download Webex Application to your device at https://www.webex.com/downloads.html.

  3. The Webex link to access to virtual conference rooms will be emailed to the presenter/author.

  4. Each virtual room have its own unique Meeting ID, Password and Link.

  5. To join the session through the web,

    • Insert the Meeting ID and Password and click ‘Join Meeting’

    • Otherwise, you can copy and paste the Meeting Link on your browser.

  1. To join the session through Webex App,

    • Insert the Meeting ID and click ‘Join’

    • Insert the Password and click ‘Next’

    • Otherwise, you can copy and paste the Meeting Link and click ‘Join’

  1. Each session will be hosted by a Session Chair and assisted by a Session Vice-Chair.

  2. Each presenter must be in the virtual room throughout the session. After completed your presentation in 15 minutes, 5 minutes will be allocated for the Question & Answer session.
